A. Ducote ( Alphonse or Avit? ) - Enlisted at Marksville August 15, 1863. Present February 29, 1864
Bruno Ducote -
Enlisted in Boone's Battery March 1, 1862 at Avoyelles. He was paroled at Port
Hudson and was present on February 29, 1864. Bruno married Emelia Laborde on March
30, 1869.
G. Ducote - Admitted
to CSA Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana April 6, 1864. Was back in service October
28, 1864.
St. Ville Ducote ( Sainville ) - Enlisted July 7, 1863 at Marksville. Pvt. 2nd Field Battery La Lt.
Artillery. Admitted to CSA Hospital in Shreveport April 4, 1865. He died
December 21, 1905. Buried at Mater Dolorosa, Plaucheville. His widow at the
time was Sidonia J Ducote.

Louis J Ducote -
Enlisted at Baton Rouge October 4, 1861 - 1st Regiment Louisiana Cavalry - Company G -
born about 1842. He was captured at Big Hill, Kentucky August 4, 1863.
He was in Military Prison in Louisville, Kentucky - Camp Chase, Ohio - Fort Delaware,
Delaware - Sent to City Point, Virginia March 7, 1865. He was finally paroled at
Alexandria, Louisiana June 26, 1865. Louis had made Corporal. His
brother-in-law Oliver Perry Edwards was also captured at Big Hill, Kentucky and was sent
to the same prisons.
